On November 10th, JIACO Instruments held the inaugural MIP user group meeting before the official ISTFA 2019 conference opens.
After suggestions from our users to hold such an event, we had a fantastic response earlier this year when we promoted the meeting with over 12 companies confirming their participation. We were overwhelmed at the interest to share information with other users and were glad to facilitate such an exchange.
During the evening, four customers gave presentations focusing on solving production quality issues from outsourced manufacturers, Wire Pull tests for mechanical testing, FA cases such as EOS, and also a discussion on how to prioritise the samples to maximise the efficient throughput of the MIP machines.
The evening concluded with a presentation of the latest MIP hardware and software features and roadmap. We had a Q&A at the end, covering some further customer wishes and also topics such as ‘green’ decapsulation. Overall, a fantastic event and we thank our customers for their keen interest in MIP, their feedback on their MIP machines performance (sample processing and also the reliability), and their participation in helping share a wealth of information between the users.
