Prof. Kees Beenakker, co-founder of JIACO Instruments, will be a Plenary Talks speaker at ICEPT 2025, sharing insights from over 40 years of semiconductor packaging evolution. 

In this presentation Prof. Beenakker will look back at 40 years of semiconductor packaging. Covering Prof. Beenakker experience in the industry when he joined Philips 1974, to co-founding JIACO Instruments in 2014 with the development of the MIP as a new tool. Covering the changes in the packaging industry leading to the requirement for a new decapsulation process with a wide range of applications in reliability & failure analysis.
