Job Description
Production and installation support engineer in a flourishing international startup (JIACO Instruments B.V.)
The function is a combination of:
Tester: Follow step by step procedures to qualify a system for shipment
System install engineer: Visit the customers onsite to install the system and provide training on how to operate and maintain the system
Production engineer: Continuously improve the design, work instructions and training material to reduce issues
1st, 2nd & 3rd line service engineer: Troubleshoot issues, design tests to verify suspicions and provide action plans to come to a resolution.
Depending on previous experience the roles of system install engineer, production engineer and service engineer will be introduced gradually.
Required Skills & Experience
A strong desire and relevant competencies to succeed in a high tech start-up company in a niche of the IC industry:
HTS mechanical engineering; A background in Mechatronics, a basic knowledge of electrical systems and/or PC (programming) is a prerequisite
Fluent in English; good communicator in word and writing
True team player, with ability to make critical decisions
Independent, flexible, self-starter, assertive and structured
Hands on
Eager to learn and develop
Working location: Eindhoven (50% global travel)
